Tigers for Life Officers
Alivia Grace Talley
Founder & President
Alivia Grace Talley is a junior at Clemson University studying Communication and Political Science. Since before she can remember, she has had a passion to fight for the unborn. The moment that she learned what the word abortion meant, she knew she wanted to dedicate her efforts to ending it. As a follower of Jesus, Alivia Grace desires to pursue His calling on her life - advocating for all life.
During her freshman year at Clemson, she started a pro-life student organization at Clemson, Tigers for Life. Since then, the group has vastly grown and made an impact on campus by helping pregnant and parenting students, advocating for life, and changing students hearts and minds on abortion. Alivia Grace has worked nationally in the pro-life movement since her senior year of high school, working for the National March for Life.

Today, Alivia Grace is a Spokesperson for the largest national pro-life organization, Students for Life of America.

Alivia Grace’s favorite moment leading Tigers for Life so far is creating a webpage on Clemson’s website, explaining pregnant and parenting student rights.
Kelsey Smith
Vice President
Kelsey Smith is a senior at Clemson University from Anderson, South Carolina, majoring in Communication with a minor in Political Science. She plans to go into Public Relations after graduating from Clemson, possibly in conservative politics or the pro-life movement.
She has been a member of Tigers For Life since the first meeting, and moved into the role of Vice President in the spring of 2022. Kelsey is currently a Standing With You fellow with Students For Life of America, where she is learning how to make her campus a pro-life campus.
She states, “Tigers For Life has helped me to develop my passion for both the preborn and women going through crisis pregnancies. I am excited to continue fighting to make Clemson a better place for pregnant and parenting students.
Bennett Connelly
Treasurer
Bennett Connelly is a senior from Newberry, South Carolina, majoring in construction sciences and management. Bennett was a founding member in Tigers for Life and joined to get more involved in the pro-life movement.
He shares, “I wanted to get involved in the pro-life movement and especially with Tigers for Life for purely the purpose and doing what is necessary — the little things. With a topic as sensitive as abortion especially now, the little things matter when the world is doing nothing but disregarding you in your opinion because it infringes on their beliefs — that they can do whatever they want to anyone. Including killing innocent life."
"I joined Tigers for Life because I know that we would be specializing in the little things. If you can’t do the little things right, you’ll never be able to do the big things right. Tigers for Life has a big message and future, and I just want to help and contribute to those little things that lead to the bigger things. All that I will eventually lead to the end of abortion.”
Jake McAllister
Outreach Director
Jake McAllister is a senior at Clemson University from Mount Carmel, South Carolina, majoring in agricultural mechanization and business with hopes of building a career in the upstate. He plans to return home to take over his family's cattle and timber farm that has been going on for four previous generations.
Jake joined Tigers for Life in 2021 to not only learn more about the pro-life movement, but to also take up a role in it. Today, Jake serves on Tigers for Life Executive Board as the Outreach Director.
Jake shares, “one of the simplest songs is Jesus Loves the Little Children and to me that means that he loves the pre-born as well. That is why I am a pro lifer and proud of it!.”
